Our Mission

LaunchFlow was created to give entrepreneurs, consultants, and indie builders a clean, reusable web application starter project to test ideas with \$0 initial software costs.

Instead of locking you into proprietary drag-and-drop site builders like Showit or maintaining vulnerable WordPress installations, this project provides a clean codebase based on open web standards: HTML5, CSS3, modular JavaScript, and serverless edge functions.

Foundational Security Practices (Demo Baseline)

This starter implements baseline defensive practices, with clear requirements before handling live user data:

• 🛡️ Zero Hardcoded Secrets: No API keys, passwords, or credentials exist in the client repository.
• 🛡️ Environment Variables: Production secrets are managed via .env or Cloudflare Dashboard.
• 🛡️ Honeypot Bot Trap: Invisible form fields catch automated spammers without frustrating human users with CAPTCHAs.
• 🛡️ IP-Based Edge Rate Limiting: In-memory rate limiting reduces automated form spam (5 requests / 10 min).
• 🛡️ Security Headers: Pre-configured _headers file with HSTS (Strict-Transport-Security), X-Frame-Options (DENY), and X-Content-Type-Options (nosniff).
• ⚠️ Production Review Required: Authentication and data stores in this starter are labeled demo mocks. Connect an external database and real identity provider before production launch.
